Blessing
Yesterday I received my first Catholic blessing, complete with the cross, and the typical ceremonial "in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost." It was while giving a 95 year old toothless, sunbaked Mexican woman a ride home from "Feed the Women." Apparently, she was so relieved that she arrived home safely, she blessed me (and my car) before getting out.

From whom? I don't know what authority this old lady was working under, but it was very sweet. I didn't get blessed with lots of $, however.
