a place I have called home for nearly three years
with heavy heart
my mind whirling with memories
of friends I love
of experiences and adventures that have changed me.
I leave a country of beauty
and turmoil
a little more wisea lot more grateful
sad that I could not have done more.
although we will shuttle back and forth
it will not be the same. ever.
tomorrow I return -
back to the home I love.

Yeah, we all had babies since that picture. I'm sure mom will miss mexico, but now she gets to be around all the babies! I'm sure that will make up for it.
