Interesting fact about Mexico City: The only thing required for a driver's license here is that you pay a fee. There is no written, oral, driving competency, vision screening, or literacy exam. You simply pay the fee and they give you a driver's license - which explains alot!

Hey Mom the Bomb!! I think that is an appropiate title for you! Mexico City?? That's amazing! Do you speak Spanish now? I'd love to learn Spanish...and Japanese and loads of other languages. I saw Ashley and Brittany's blogs. They are so funny! You know you've been an inspiration (and proof) for me going back to school. I can't really until we go back to the States, but I plan on going to nursing school and then get my master's in anethesia nursing. My family asked me if I should go for something that would take so much time to get and I always reply "Sister Reed went to medical school late and now she's a doctor! If she can do it then I can to!" I love reading about everything you've done already. Tell everyone I say hi and definitely keep in touch!!
Love, Tricia

Hi Tricia! Yes, you sure can do it! And it feels great to do what you really want, even if it takes more time. Go for it! Enjoy living in Japan. You'll have lots of experience there that you couldn't get any other way.

Good thing there are no tests for the license, cause you probably wouldn't pass.
