It was the best of times, it was the worst of times

So I love our new home. The construction is incredibly sound. There is 2 feet of concrete between floors, which means you can jump, scream, or have a wild party on one floor and nobody will hear you on the next floor. Which is great UNLESS - you happen to accidenetally lock yourself in the closet in the basement floor when your husband is on the main floor. Enough said.

Did you not learn anything from Brasil?

seriously - you shouldn't be left alone in foreign contries without a walkie talkie.

with concrete walls that thick i don't know if a walkie talkie would have helped. at least they weren't 5 ft thick and built of lead based concrete.

but if they were you wouldn't have to worry about nuclear fallout. not that there's a lot of that in mexico.

Answers, responses: Ryan - yes, I didn´t say "I´m never going to the closet again" this time. Bethany - I think Brandon responded to yours, but thanks for the advise. Ashley - you´re just a smart A. And Brandon - you'd be seriously impressed by this house. It was built right after the earthquake of 1980 when everyone was paranoid. I´m just happy it's safe (well, from earthquakes, that is)
